ABS
Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene
Acrylonitrile-Bbutadiene-Styrene-Polycarbonate is an amorphous copolymer consisting of the four components Butadiene, Arcylnitrile, Styrene and Polycarbonate.
This engineering plastic has excellent properties. The material has high temperature resistance, high breaking strength and a scratch-resistant surface. The Polycarbonate improves the heat resistance and technical material properties of ABS.
ABS/PC is well suited for varnishing and coating. The plastic can be easily post-processed by sanding, sawing and drilling.
ABS/PC as a 3D filament is a very interesting material for stressed objects.
ABS/PC combines the advantages of ABS and PC. You can finish it well afterwards; by grinding and drilling. And you can varnish it.
ABS/PC has high strength, temperature resistance and a scratch resistant surface.
ABS/PC is a hydrophilic material. We recommend tempering the welding rod before processing for this reason.
You can use all standard welding equipment. A hot air tool, an injectiweld or extruder.
ABS/PC is easy to post-process. It can be sanded, painted and galvanized.
