PVC is flame retardant and has very good UV and weather resistance.<\/p>\n<p>The mechanical high strength, rigidity and hardness are characteristic of rigid PVC (PVC-U). Window profiles and handrails are made of PVC. PVC has proven its worth in tank and apparatus construction.<\/p>\n<p>At temperatures up to ~60 \u00b0C, PVC is resistant to water, aqueous solutions, alkalis, to greases and oils, ethanol and gasoline.<\/p>\n<p>Parts made of PVC can be very well post-processed by sawing, drilling, grinding and cutting. We recommend tempering the welding rod before processing for this reason.<\/p>\n<p>You can use welding equipment suitable for PVC. A hot air tool or an extruder.<\/p>\n<p>PVC is easy to post-process. It can be grinded, sawn and machined.<\/p>\n<p>PVC must not be heated to high temperatures, as this can produce gases that are hazardous to
